The Los Angeles-based Micah Abrams Content Service is owned, operated, and janitored by Micah Abrams, a writer and editor whose work has appeared in every conceivable media, from print to stage. Specializing in action, adventure, and mainstream sports, his writing is regularly featured in ESPN The Magazine, Skiing, Powder, Maxim, and LA Weekly. As an editor, Micah got his start helping launch the revolutionary ski magazine FREEZE, which he ran as Editor In Chief for three years. He is the current West Coast Editor for EXPN.com and heads up custom publishing projects for clients like K2 Skis. As a television writer, Micah scripted for Jim Lampley, host of NBC's Late Night broadcast from the 2006 Olympic Winter Games, as well as produced the 2007 Iditarod on the Versus network. He writes the screenplay for the largest, longest running action sports film on the planet, the annual ski and snowboard film from Warren Miller Entertainment, and he’s written a TV pilot and a feature film—both highly unregarded in Hollywood. Finally, his karaoke performances of Journey's “Don't Stop Believin'” are the stuff of legend among those who have been unfortunate enough to witness them. In his free time, Micah is an accomplished skier, an avid surfer, and can still fall hard enough on a skateboard to make other skaters wince. He prefers to work without pants. |
